- You have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement
- Your property or premises is located within our serviceable area
- You have provided accurate and complete information during the inquiry or registration process
3. Services offered
My Solar Balaji provides end-to-end solar energy solutions including site assessment, system design, equipment supply, installation, net-metering assistance, and ongoing maintenance support. The specific scope of services for your project will be outlined in a written quotation or service agreement provided before work commences.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time, with reasonable prior notice wherever possible.
4. Quotations and pricing
All quotations provided by My Solar Balaji are subject to the following conditions:
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
- Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly mentioned otherwise
- Final pricing may vary based on site-specific requirements identified during assessment
- Government subsidy amounts are estimated and subject to approval by relevant authorities
- Any changes to the agreed scope of work may result in revised pricing
5. Payment terms
Payments are to be made as per the schedule outlined in your project agreement. Our standard payment structure is as follows:
- Advance payment — a percentage of the total project cost is due upon confirmation of the order
- Pre-installation payment — due before delivery of equipment to your site
- Final payment — due upon completion of installation and handover
We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, cheque, or other methods as agreed. Delayed payments may attract interest charges as specified in the project agreement.
6. Installation and site responsibilities
To ensure a smooth installation, the customer agrees to:
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to the installation site on the agreed date
- Ensure that the electrical wiring and infrastructure at the premises meets the required standards
- Obtain any necessary permissions from housing societies, landlords, or local authorities prior to installation
- Inform us of any structural concerns, asbestos roofing, or other site-specific hazards in advance
7. Warranty and after-sales support
We stand behind the quality of our products and workmanship. Our warranty coverage includes:
- Solar panels — as per the manufacturer’s performance and product warranty (typically 25 years performance, 10 years product)
- Inverter — as per the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 5 to 10 years)
- Installation workmanship — 1 year from the date of commissioning
- Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) — available as an optional add-on service
8. Government subsidies and approvals
My Solar Balaji will assist customers in applying for available government subsidies and net-metering connections. However, we do not guarantee approval of any subsidy or net-metering application, as these are subject to the policies and processing timelines of the relevant government bodies such as DISCOMs and MNRE. Delays or rejections by government agencies will not affect the customer’s payment obligations to My Solar Balaji.
9. Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellations are accepted under the following conditions:
- Cancellation before equipment dispatch — eligible for a full refund minus any processing or design charges
- Cancellation after equipment dispatch — refund will be subject to deduction of equipment, logistics, and restocking costs
- Cancellation after installation has commenced — no refund will be applicable; balance payment remains due
10. Limitation of liability
My Solar Balaji shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of income due to power outages, grid failures, or delays in government approvals. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
11. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
